The end of April was stressful, and this whole May bujo setup is made in a rush. I literally used my lunch break to film this plan with me and make the whole setup. No preparation, just one pen and my notebook.
In this setup, I skipped the cover page because I’m running out of pages in this notebook, and since this setup is completely basic, I jumped straight onto the monthly log.
I used my standard calendar layout for the monthly log and I added a title and that’s it! Stressful times require simple setups. Maybe later I’ll add some scraps of gift wrapping paper that I have collected over time if I feel fancy. I love neutral colors and I gathered a lot of beautiful printed paper that I want to use in my notebook.

Next pages that I’m adding are my favorites that I constantly use and can’t function without them:
- Brain dump to gather all of my random ideas and notes
- Habit check page which is my go-to for tracking my habits every month
- Content plan pages for blog and video ideas that I often revisit
- Workout log (I love to keep my notes and track progress, it’s fun)
For every page I only made titles, and subtitles if needed. Through the month they’ll be formatted as a group of bullet points, quick sketches and similar, depending on the topic and idea.

And lastly I’m adding a simple weekly log with my favorite layout, since I don’t really need to add daily pages. I’ll rapid log everything that’ll happen for that day and that’s it. I added one section for next week if I need to add some larger notes and this bullet journal setup for May is complete.
I wish I wasn’t is such a rush honestly, but still I’m happy that I showed this setup anyway. It looks like nothing special but at least I can keep some things organized, and hopefully I’ll be able to get myself back on track so I can do more things that I love.
What do you do when life gets stressful and you can’t find the time to do some things that you love doing?
Fun fact: I broke my tripod that I use for filming and I ended up placing my hand-held gimble in a pasta container filled with apples to make this plan with me video. Creative, isn’t it?
