Hand Lettering & Floral Illustration Tutorial

my hand lettering flowers tutorial

Combining hand lettering and floral illustrations can be simple. When you want to use negative space around your hand lettering and add flowers to fill that space you need to follow a few basic steps.

In this tutorial I’m sharing steps for creating a nice and detailed floral illustration with outlined hand lettering. Grab a piece of paper and a pen and let’s start!

This is my first attempt and I’m happy with the final piece. I used my small notebook to test this method and now I want to make a larger piece. If you want to make something similar, you can use A3 paper – that size is perfect! Or you can go digital if you want, the possibilities are endless.
